There are moments when you look back in life and feel that time past too fast.. Funny thing is I'm getting this feeling more and more often. Looking at the younger new comers and can't help to think I was once like them. I was once young and innocent. I was once told by many "Wah.. So young ar!" Now, its my turn saying that phrase more often and hearing it lesser. They say time flies past 21 and speeds up after 25. Is this the mid 20's crisis? It used to be slower when I was in school.. The young and silly days when I wish I was a grown up. Its total opposite now..

In a blink of an eye 2010 is history.. Another blink here comes February together with Chinese New Year.. Hmm.. Maybe I should blink lesser or not at all. If only that helps slowing down Time, I would..

Despite the rising food cost. Or rather, cost of everything. Our pay suffer cuts. =( And yet the government said that our recession days are over.. Looking at the cuts.. Its hard to believe.. Where have the money gone to?! Unfair! Injustice! Cruel! Despicable You! =(

Squeezing like sardine on a jam packed train to town during the morning rush hour. Definately not the best way to start my Mornings. In fact, reporting to work feels better than that. At least, no pushing involved. Thank god I'm not doing this often, just an early day to company mom for her U.S visa appointment.

I settled at Starbucks with my favorite author, frappé and a chicken pie that is now sitting comfortably in my happy stomach while waiting for mom to finish her interview. Watching people getting busy with their lives, birds nipping on e left overs on empty table and toddlers chasing the birds barefooted. It's all pretty enjoyable and relaxing. Like some sort of compensation after surviving the mobile tin can earlier.. =)

I got my first jab of Gardasil yesterday. A vaccination against cervical cancer. Painful and expensive? Yes, but nothing is more important that staying healthy. For a peace of mind, I guess its all worth it. 2nd and 3rd doze of vaccine will be arranged in 2 and 6 months from now respectively.

Ladies under 26, do consider getting yourself vaccinated. =)

I really thought I'm going to be wheeled to the hospital. Was half way through my make up, preparing for my long trip this morning. Felt a sudden surge of nausea and the next thing I know I was unable to stand proper and breaking out with cold sweat. Limps went jelly like almost in a instant. An instinct can was to grab on to the table for balance. Mom walked in and noticed but couldn't figure out what went wrong. 'I don't feel well' I mumbled followed by blurry vision and blanked out. I could hear mom screaming my name but couldn't see a thing. My body is getting heavy and my limps started to give way. I could only sit down slowly on the floor and catch my breath.

It wasn't until half a minute later before my vision cleared out. I knew I won't be able to make it for work but was concern with the taking last min MC. Mom told me to forgo the flight. It'll be worst should something happened on board. My cold shaky fingers tried to punch in the numbers with much difficulty. Somehow the blur vision and dizziness still has its affects, its not only after several attempts before I could call the get the numbers right.

Have to crawl myself to bed, close my eyes and relax my mind. That's when everything gets better. Went over to the doctor in the afternoon. The same gastric problem which I am recently diagnosed with and a slight fever. The cause? Stress.. Ironically, I'm on leave these few days.. Where did the stress came in? It happened before, something similar but without the black out, it was due to stomach flu then.

Anyways, wish myself Get Well Soon..

And my heart aches for the lost of my flight allowance... My only long flight this month... Gonna be broke next month... =(

Obsession comes in many forms and is very hard to curb. The most alarming of all is the obsession with people. That is when stalking comes in.. Constantly digging up information about a particular person with any possible means; common friends, remote friends, facebook or worst just pure Googling through the internet. Often, resulting in believing in gossips or even creating more gossips. Very different from the normal nosing into people's business, its 10 times worst! The slightest information retrieved would send a satisfying shiver down the spine like a obsession orgasm. Freaky eh? =S

And no, I am not diagnosed with such disease.. Just a point to raise public awareness. There are obsessed stalkers out there!

For the first time on a long haul flight, I hibernated. Bread, cheese, ham, milk, a couple of instant soup, instant mash potato and laptop with internet connection is all I need to survive 2 days in room. Minimal contact with other human species were made, the rest were spent with Zzz in la la. A call for a new book I guess. Reading, the most economic and easy way to keep myself entertained, sometimes even put myself to sleep.

Looking back at the photos from the past 3 years ago, when we were all destined to fly.. Like every exposure to a new working environment especially to such with constant change of new colleagues, molds oneself to a new character both inside and out. Like flowers, everyone blooms. I guess we do get influence by our jobs after all.

In London now up and awake at 3am. The worst time that anyone could wake up to outstation. With all the TV commercial going on, having no room for a decent show, its sad. And if that station offers sky high internet prices cutting off my access to the outside world, its total boredom!~ Lucky me, the hotel here wasn't that unreasonable.

Back to the era when every song tells a story with beautiful lyrics and romantic rhythms and Friday Fever Night is still a hip. Few of those classics never fade with time. My favorites?

The air is clear once again. Never learn how to appreciate my surroundings that much until this morning. Have a couple of real troublesome situation that I have to handle for the moment. Nasty...

Will be flying off to London tomorrow. Once upon a time, not too long ago actually, I would rather stay at home than do long flights. Wanting to spend more time with family, friends and love ones. Today was different, I actually kind of look forward to tomorrow. Couple of days in London might just do the trick. Need a break here. May is a whole chunk of getaways for myself.

I want to splurge and for once pamper myself with a nice hot red Fendi wallet, or bag or even that sparkling diamond necklace that I've been dying to put on my neck for so long. Bling Bling~ So many wants with so little resources. Not to mention those craving for nice gadgets: an iphone, and a new camera! Probably one from those Cannon power shot series, heard those are cool with semi professional strength. An additional hair do would also be good, I want to get my curly locks back! Since there's no more Princes in wonderland, I might as well do good in reality.

However, (God why must there always must be a 'but' or 'however'!~) like a said with limited resources a.k.a MONEY. Its only feasible to satisfy my crave one at a time. So its no branded goods for now but I can still do some light shopping =) like a form of relaxation. Just wait for me my Little Red Wallet and Bling Bling. I shall get to u soon...

New Year

For the very first time in my 23 years, I went to a mass count down to welcome 2010. Ryan's idea, brought us to Vivo City for the not-so-great-performance and that tiny edge of fireworks that peeked at us behind the giant Christmas Tree. Doesn't sound good huh.. To me, its probably the best count down I have. When the clock strikes 12, that first kiss of 2010 alone worked miracles. Suddenly, it wasn't crowded, it wasn't hot and humid, its love in the air, that very moment... Like the first kiss we had, I fell in love again..

Went cycling the next day. The last time I did cycling was at least 4 years ago in my school days. Did I mentioned I was a slow bloomer in terms of cycling? At 15, I picked up cycling after multiple down falls, literally, rampaging into trees and drains. I was stupid with things with wheels. Actually, I am still stupid with bicycle. So with a 2 seater bike Ryan naturally took over the steering part while I comfortably sat behind the strong and mighty and ride him. No, I mean ride with him.. =P Took short breaks in between the journey to watch airplanes pass by while he explains some technical stuff about flying which interest me but soon forgets with my lazy brain with lousy memory..

You know there are moments in life when the emotions got out of control, the tears went berserk and eye lids are having such a hard time suppressing it. I can be both independent and reliant. I've been through that one year without Ryan by my side and I thought I was well trained in that area, 2 weeks of absence should be nothing right? Wrong. Don't know what's gotten into me last night, I became that cry baby that visits once in a while. A look in his eye, a hug and a kiss is all it takes to make me realise how much I'll miss him. Suddenly tears went out of control, forcing itself out from my eyes. Ryan was there for me to hug on while I chase that cry baby away. A hot shower later on made it all better, silly me.. That night, he told me I was beautiful.. I was so happy.. =)

I cried my eyes out on the morning of Christmas Eve.. Nope, nothing tragic happened. Its all a cause of a good book. Lovely Bones, the movie is coming out soon in Jan. I'll be sure to watch it and probably cry my eyes out in the theaters again. Can't help it.. A very sensitive lady here.

Opened the windows to let the cold breeze in.. My house is getting emptier by the day. The next house that I'm going to move should be a smaller one. Less walking to do, less cleaning and more importantly, less lonely... All the space and home alone, its not as fun as people think living alone would be. Sure I can bring Ryan home for cuddles but it usually happens on weekends. Its too far to his work place here. Besides, no good impression would be left on his parents if he were to move here and forget about his own family would it.

I longed for home cook food. The smell of hot breakfast that woke me from Lala. Did mom spoiled me or what. I sure did make myself breakfast and its always the same thing. Not that i'm lazy, I didn't want to waste. Its no good keep getting new food stuff and waste the old ones away. A down side of living alone. You eat the same shit different day. I still had the same loft of bread that I've brought 3 days ago sitting on my kitchen top. Yes, I've been having bread for breakfast for the past 3 days and still not finishing it. Guess what I'll be having later? Bread!~ Boring! Wait, there's yogurt and strawberries.. Maybe a little less boring..

Had a gathering with the sistas for a small dinner before Christmas. We venture into some Vietnamese rooftop restaurant at Orchard Central. With the great view, it could be the new dating hot spot. However, the food wasn't that great and not to mention costly too. =S Could have spend that same amount of money on else where with really good food, but I guess we got lured into the ambiance. A death trap.
Anyways, its the company that counts right? Sistas forever~!

Happy Dong Zhi people! I really missed my younger days when I'd fought a lot with my brothers for the different flavors of 汤圆 and who gets how many.. Miss those days.. Now its just me, a bowl of 汤圆 and good old memories. In fact, I don't even remember having rice balls on Dong Zhi for ages. Well at least I get off on Christmas and New Year, can't complain..

Days ago Ryan got his hands on an iPhone and it tempted me quite a bit. I didn't know smart phones can be so handy since I've never been a tech savvy person. Ryan got all smart and witty showing me the Wows of iPhone while I stare and secretly feeling jealous. Humph.. Don't worry, I'm still happy with my old Nokia, it doesn't get affected no matter how many times I dropped it. Ha! iPhones can't do that can they! =p Still maybe when my plan mature next year or so I'll change over to some smart phone. I got my eyes on the LG new Chocolate, that is until I change my mind. In a group of five, we walked almost 45 mins from hotel to Musee De Louvre in the unforgiving winter in Paris just to get a glimpse of the Mona Lisa painting and other antiques left by the history. 3 Degrees, that's where I met my friend, Flu.

Tried catching some sleep all afternoon but remain wide awake! Dammit.. Gave up on putting myself to sleep I;ve spend the afternoon on Facebook nosing around other people's business. A cyber addition. Its the standard Facebook, Blog, E-Mail and MSN whenever my computer is on. =)

Happy 22nd Birthday to Herry! Its so nice to be 22, anything younger than me is always better. I WISH I'M 22! Anyways, we head our for party at Zouk with Herry and friends. A night of gruesome drinking session for the guys, bottle after bottle. Me n YJ remained as good girls n stayed on minimum alcohol level. =) Perhaps the most healthy party ever. It took us almost the whole night to finish the 4 free drinks that comes with the cover which usually last for 10 mins.

Lazy Fingers

And finally my lazy fingers starts typing again. Two days of 9 to 5 in the office and I'm already half dead. Its gonna be a hell of a hard time adapting to an office environment should I ever quit my job. Spend my last 2 days attending training for a new fleet, The Big Bird, A380. Tomorrow shall be my first solo, hope I don't end up like a lost kitten in that big maze. Fingers crossed.

During my absence from here, little has been accomplished. I'm never a woman of ambition. In fact, my greatest career aim is to have none at all. It sounds bimbo but: I WANT TO BE FED! Like just stay at home and be pretty for my loving husband whom'll give me monthly allowance.. I promise I'll cook, clean, be pretty and very very sexy for him... A.K.A private stripper that comes in a monthly package. Hmmm.. Good deal? Than again, reality rarely permits. They say: Dreams comes in a size bigger for you to grow into. I say: Dreams will forever be a size bigger. That's where the phrase 'Dream on' comes about.

After 2 years, I'm starting to appreciate my job other than on pay day. I appreciate my job when I have to go back office for course. The 9 to 5 routine kills me. Also, I appreciate my job when I'm not working, having luxurious weekend offs (luxurious because its so rare) and when I'm not doing shitty flights. Other that that, I still drag to go to work. Once a chief told me I've performed well and have the passion for the job. I thank him for the compliment but secretly, its just my improvement on doing the fake smile facial expression. 2 years of smiling to hateful people and even under extreme stressful, fast pace environment. The practice must worth something.

With the fixed routine job that requires 80% tactfulness and only 20% intelligent, I'm turning stupid, slowly. The only way to keep me from turning into a complete bimbo is to read. Cause Bimbos don't read. Yes, I'm not the Miss Intelligent PHD holder but I have no problem managing human problem in this little world. You don't use algebra in daily life.. You need to be tactful.

An earlier discussion with a colleague of mine about the usual female all time favorite topic: Boy, Girl, Relationship (BGR) concludes that age is the biggest fear for woman. Time is never on our side ladies. That's why we've got all the anti-aging products. The worst situation I can think of is to drag on a relationship that goes no where and breaks up after many years taking youth with it. Its painful to lose someone you love but its worst to be lost when your hitting the 30s. The guy? Don't be surprised to find him drooling over some 19 year old big breast chic and willing to lick her toes, marring the queen and be her slave months into the break up with you. Reason? fresh Virgina! There you go, freshly out cherry. So you think.. Hmm.. Lets just hope Miss Big-Boob-Fresh-Cherry won't cheat on you. Oh wait, maybe she already had. Mr Dick Head.

The unfair thing is: Woman expires, man don't. Sigh.. I wish I can be 23 forever..
